this is just the story i have been playing with Lurid and COF to test some of the After Chronicles, and needless to say I've been having a lot of fun with this, but its pretty brief as in i don't go into character dialog, and i have skipped a lot of the more funny scenes just because although funny they aren't important to remember <.< >.>


Adam and H'var lived in a small mining village that

supplied ores to the main city, they were both guards in

this village and protected the miners from anything keeping

them from their job and also protected the city. One evening

as Adam and H'var made they're rounds, they discovered the

pet scorpics have turned hostile on their tamers and began

attacking them. Adam and H'var were able to save one kid

Arlen from death by pick. As our group returned to the

village they realized the village was overrun but local

animals gone crazy, killing most all of the villages.
Adam and the others rushed back to tell the elder

and as he was thinking he stabbed himself in the head. In

shock our group ran toward the next town, meeting with a

group of shades, a female and 2 males in a caravan heading

away from the city, they ignore the pleas of our group and

continue onward.
As our group hits up the city's inn, they meet the

female with the shade group for before. Adam chats with her

until she passes out, finding out possible information on

the 3 being a "terrorist group" (guess that describes it?)

Adam carries her into a room and heads back down stairs as

one of the male shades enters the room and attacks Adam

knocking Adam unconscious, the bartender kindly shoots the

shade in the face with his shotgun-crossbow.
MEANWHILE! with H'var he is discovering alot of the

monsters are starting to become hostile again and runs to

the inn to warn the group, upon warning the group, the bar

is pretty much invaded and the group is attacked by 3 wolves

(nevertheless the fight goes alittle...uh....TOO well..)

upon their defeat the group carries miss trashed down stairs

to see whats going on to see the bartender laying waste to

anything that goes threw the door. the group runs leaving

the bartender behind (because hes not traveling with a bunch

of "pussehs") as they run the streets the town is pretty

much destroyed and overrun, they try multiple exists before

they find an unmanned boat and use it to make their escape,

just before the bartender makes his way onto the boat.
After a while the shade fully recovers and reveals

her name is Meredith, she asks Adam and H'var to make sure

the boat is clear of anything hostile, they both go threw

the boat and find a wounded wold, Adam eventually befriends

it and nicknames it "Lil bstd". After the search they begin

to clean the boat of the dead bodies of the crew members, as

Meredith pilots the boat and the bartender is in the crows

nest.
After days of travel they come onto the Phidiasan's

home continent. Where Meredith befriends many "Phids" to

come and repair the boat and assist them in removing unneeded

materials. The group gives a fancy cook from the castle to

the crew named Eric. After the work is finished the group

heads to the castle to greet the king (who happens to be a

fat incompetent self centerer motherfucker!!) who greets

them then leaves for hours to eat, then returns. The two

guards slowly ready themselves to decapitate the king as the

group talks to the king. As the king is killed the two

guards reveal themselves to be the two shades that once

traveled with Meredith and begin the GTFO like mad, as they

return to the boat they continue their GTFOing.
The two shades reveal themselves as Simon and Roger.

The Phid kingdom now pretty much destroyed due to the

animals, and the confusion between what\who killed the king.

As the group continues their escape H'var comes onto a hole

in the bottom of the boat and warns Simon and Adam, as the

three of them come down to investigate, three phids have cut

open a hole and entered the ship, 1 of the Phids escape as

the other 2 are killed. H'var uses the body of one to plug

up the hole as the bartender uses a table and H'vars axe to

fix the ship (along with Adam's hammer).
After a few days of travel. The boat is hit by a

massive storm. long story short the boat is shipwrecked on

an island after the storm, with Meredith, Adam, H'var and

Lil Bstd only to be found, as they scrounge up what supplies

they can find and enter the islands forest, as they enter a

demon from about circles them like a vulture. As Meredith

shoots an arrow at him his wing is hit and he immediately

drops down and strikes her knocking her out, he then begins

to threaten Adam and H'var, luckily Adam with some quick

words confuses him enough to spare them (for now) and takes

them to the leader of the village, carrying Meredith of

course. As they talk to the Leader.......END! (so far)

The elder of the Zenshou village doesn't believe their story , so they are taken into custody.

Adam and H'var participate in a three-day tournament to earn the group's freedom.

In their last battle, they face an adorable bunny zenshou which they refuse to fight.

Their refusal causes the tournament managers to release wolves, which the group begins taking down.

The last wolf is taken down by Meredith after she assaults the zenshou elder.

They grab the bunny zenshou and make their escape, only to be attacked by a previous tournament opponent, who severely damages their new boat and many members of the party.

After a fierce battle, they begin repairing the boat and make plans to finish off their elder.

Simon heads off to finish the elder. While he's gone, the group decides Adam should off Simon and take over the group.

Eventually, Simon returns with the elder and a group of guards. The party fights them off and does some major harm to Simon in the process. They drag him onto the boat and all make off to the land of the humans.

On Simon's dead body, they find a contract he had to kill the leaders of all of the races. The contract is from a shade named Heather. They figure she works for an organization that is too large to take head-on.

The group decides to continue for the land of the humans to warn them.

When they arrive, they two men fighting off feral alligators and wolves. One man is struck down and the group hurries to help the other.

After the fight, the survivor asks why they are there, apprehensive. Adam heals the downed man, earning enough trust to be invited to the castle.

The surviving man reveals himself to be Floyd, the king of the humans. The two agree to help each other fight against Heather.

Floyd invites the rest of the group to stay at the castle and help defend it. Meanwhile, the man that fell on the beach introduces himself as Zasda and attempts to figure out how the flute works.

The group rests at the castle for the night.

The group is rejoined by Arlen, who had befriended an enormous rat. Arlen talks about some old times he and the group spent together.

Arlen talks about some good times he wasn't actually there for, and Adam becomes suspicious and informs Floyd of this weird situation. Floyd decides to lock up the lab where the flute and Zasda's notes about it are located. He places a guard in front of the door.

After waiting until the wee hours of the night for the impending attack, the group fights a few enemies at the front gate of the castle. The group stands up to them, but Arlen does not join them in battle. Adam investigates his whereabouts and finds that he broke into the undergound lab and was using the flute.

The group finishes off the enemies at the gate and blocks the gate from further invaders. Eric, in a savage rage from the flue, attacks Arlen, but is slowly losing. H'var comes down to the lab and finishes off Arlen.

With more attacks incoming, the group takes refuge in the throne room. A scary-ass floating zombie woman proceeds to taunt the group, then floats out a window before using a spell that blocks off the windows and doors with concrete.

The group solves a puzzle to open the door thanks to the power of five or six dead bodies. Hooray for corpses!

The group stocks up and departs for Shade country. Floyd and company stay behind to defend their country, but they make sure the party has plenty of supplies for the road.

[Child of Flame]

I suppose everyone was waiting for me to finish this. Kinda forgot I'm the only one who took notes during the last few sessions... ^^' whoops!!

After two weeks of traveling by boat, the party finally arrives on the Shade's continent. Unsure of how the Shades will react to a party of outsiders, Meredith (refresh: she's a Shade) goes deeper into the continent alone. Jessebelle ends up following Meredith, as she is the only one who is easily able to hide her traits from the rest of the Shades. Jessebelle witnesses a few Shades capture Meredith and Jessebelle follows long enough to see where the captors take her: to a church. Jessebelle rushes back to the boat to warn the rest of the party.

They make their way into the church with little trouble, and realize that there is a mass going on. Jessebelle hears a voice (or was it voices?) coming from one direction even though it looks like it should be coming from another direction. This freaks her out, and eventually she finds that the altar is the source of the sounds, and that the altar moves to reveal a long, downwards staircase. Eddy stays behind for the rest of the story at this point; he had been injured (I believe) and would hold off anyone that would try to stop the party from behind.

At the bottom of this staircase, the group (now just Adam, H'var, and Jessebelle) finds a group of priests torturing some random captives. Two priests flee, and long story short, the other two died. The captives were freed and told to wait upstairs with Eddy.

The next room was a torture room, presumably to punish the non-believers and ultimately kill them. The room itself was several stories high, with all the captives trapped in individual cages, maimed and mangled in some way to discourage any attempt to escape. These cages came from the wall, and were mechanically pulled closer and closer to their eventual death, an incinerator. Meredith was among these captives, and had been rendered completely immobile: one long spear connected her elbow joints together and another long spear connected her knee joints together. The group manages to free her from the cage and remove the spears without killing her, although she does faint. She is promptly taken back to Eddy and he watches over her as she recovers.

The next room after the torture room was a massive mass body grave. Hundreds upon thousands of dead bodies laid in the way of the group, who must make it to a ladder in the room and climb it. After wading through the corpses, they do climb to the top of the ladder, only to find a manhole in the ceiling. It's not exactly a manhole, its like one of those doors on a ship, where in order to open it, you must turn this huge metal wheel. I don't know what they're called. It's the size of a manhole, more or less, and with little effort, the group gets it open and they proceed upwards.

They realize that they have made it back to ground level, and the room that they emerged in is a sort of safe haven, filled with extra first aid kits and some armor and weapons. This would be lovingly called the Save Point later on, because the group would return here several freaking times. The group rests up and heads out to find a graveyard, patrolled by a couple of rabid watch dogs and a few zombies emerging from the ground.

The team briefly splits up to take each of the dogs by surprise while also fighting off the zombies in the ground. The team succeeds in killing off the threats, but H'var gets seriously wounded for like the first time in the entire chronicle. In any case, there is a shack at the end of the graveyard, but it is sealed shut with no way to open it. The team must continue on, somehow, though...

They notice that most of the headstones in the graveyard are so weather-worn, that they are completely illegible, save for four of them. The group figures to search these four headstones and dig up the graves. Under one grave was a passage underground, but was also trapped. H'var gets knocked out briefly for taking the damage of the arrow trap that was set for them.

When he wakes up, they proceed down to the sewer, but can not go too much further, because the sewer's water becomes alive and hostile. As it attacks the group, they begin to learn that the monster does not appear to be affected by any attacks. When it loses an arm, it just summons more shit to 'regenerate' it. H'var works quickly to light a candle he found earlier on in the church, and tosses it at the monster. Not the smartest of ideas, as the entire sewer becomes encased with flames. The horns of the Goliaths' melt off, and Jessebelle's fur and hair are completely burned off. Needless to say, they all pretty much come close to dying at this point.

When the party comes to and recovers, they find a room at the end of the sewers. Inside is a computer that unlocked the shack above ground. They make their way inside the shack. Inside, they find a man who feigns innocence as he summons a giant plant monster in the middle of a summoning circle (the circle is, of course, a giant swastika). The man runs off and the group is forced to fight and defeat the plant monster (half rose, half sunflower). The group also manages to get their hands on a few different colored vials (one green, one blue, one yellow) that the man was working on.

After a little searching around the shack, the group finds a trap door. Adam uses one of the vials on the door, which works like acid eating away at the wood. He hacks the rest of the door open, and the group falls through a chute that takes them into the final room in the game. The room is much like the one on ground level, especially the summoning circle. Here waits the summoner along with Heather, both of whom are chanting madly to complete a ritual (presumably to make Heather God-like or something). The group wastes no time, and lays waste to the summoner.

Adam, carrying a special vial that Zasda had given him to use against Heather, finally uses this vial! Heather begins to melt away as she makes her way into the middle of the circle. The group tries in vain to stop her, and she begins to transform into her demon form. I don't really recall exactly what she looked like, but one of her arms were nothing more than just a whole bunch of vines and thorns, and her stomach bore the swastika symbol.

Fighting Heather/Demon is not too much trouble, as Jessebelle destroys one arm while H'var and Adam continously attacks the Demon. Adam notices that the swastika on the Demon's chest bore some strange markings. These markings Zasda previously discovered are places where the flute can come apart and come together again (I think-I phased out for that because technically only Zasda and Adam knows about the flute's anatomy and function). Adam realizes that blowing on the holes where the markings are will most likely destroy the Demon and begins to play.

The Demon will not go down so easily, however, and launches his vines into Jessebelle, literally sucking the life and the blood out of her. Jessebelle, falling limp to the floor, dies. Witnessing this, H'var gains impetus (he wuvs the bun-nie, you see) at this sight and fights stronger than ever against the Demon while Adam finishes playing the song. Heather/the Demon dies and is no more.

Eddy and Meredith then tumble down the chute, realizing they were too late to help and...then that's about it. Sadly, they carry Jessebelle's body back to the boat and make their way back home. I'm pretty sure they also free all the captives in the torture room as well. They all head back to the human continent, one of the few places left in the world that is still actually populated (Adam and H'var are the only two Goliaths left, and Eric the cook is the only Phid left) and make their home there. Adam hits on Meredith a whole bunch, Eddy works at a bar, and H'var starts a vegetable farm (where Jessebelle is buried) and takes care of a whole family of bunnies. And that's about it. Life begins to slowly return to normal from there, but it is very hard to do so.

I noticed my summary lacked a lot of detail ("they went to the church and free captives. They find a torture room and free Meredith"), so the details that I DID put in might either be a little off (for instance, I'm not exactly sure how the cages in the torture room were pulled)...or I didn't give a particular room enough details or didn't do it justice. Because of this, if you want me to edit anything, Zain, just let me know. XD
