Teacher, alchemist, surgeon, doctor, bard, spellsword, battlemage, archmage, shieldman, lancer, bandit, ranger (not an archer), druid, shapeshifter, healer, sniper, priest(ess), dragonknight, adventurer, fencer, martial artist, combat healer, master, general, etc, etc.
Go nuts.

I think what your looking for is a someone who specializes in some area that has not already been covered.

Well, here's an idea: Come up with your own classes, then. As in, don't ask for people to think for you.

Whoa Whoa Whoa! calm down missy. I thought Kalarsys in general was something for everyone to work together on. Now we are asking for everyone's input on key topics to the game. That way no one feels left out or feels that their ideas go unheard. We have things on the board that go from Monsters to Weapons, so why not have something on here for classes.
And for your information, most of the information in TAC was created by Hawk and Myself. So as far as i'm concerned we did a lot of thinking on our own as it is, heaven forbid we try to get everyone in on the project like kalarsys should be.

Okay, this is seriously my bad, because I should know better and explain myself a little more thoroughly.
First off, I know Hawk contributed much to the book, thanks. To further harp on the copyright issue we all seem to have, please credit him for the work he's done in your book (or at least in future versions), so that others may know.
Secondly, what really gets to me here is that he's looking for "original" ideas. Heh heh. Let's go through the list, shall we? As a special note to keep in mind, this is pure class I'm discussing, not character.
An Artorian is your basic fighter class. Nothing special here. An Eidolon is your basic mage class, be it offensive or defensive. A Tamer's a tamer. Oh boy. Zenshou's are prolly the only truly original idea that's here, and that's existed since the beginning of time. Ranger- oh, look at that, one of my ideas were already here. Still a Ranger, though.
I could go on. But I won't. Hopefully we're getting the picture: none of these ideas, in essence, are original. Noc's idea isn't original (blatantly stating that the class would work much like James Bond. Or maybe MacGyver). Hell, MY ideas aren't original.
It's what we DO[/i] with these classes that make them unique. The tweaks we put into each class that sets them apart.
An Artorian's your basic fighter class, but unlike most fighter classes, can wield most melee weapons and have a number of unique abilities that makes even two Artorians very different from each other.
And so on. I'm going to copy and paste my original post with some minor edits and again urge you to "go nuts" and make something unique.
Teacher, alchemist, surgeon, doctor, bard, spellsword, battlemage, archmage, shieldman, lancer, bandit, druid, shapeshifter, healer, sniper, priest(ess), dragonknight, adventurer, fencer, martial artist, combat healer, master, general. And now, a gadgeteer/techie (courtesy of Noc here).
Or, just continue working on the classes you already have and make them more unique.
Why do I give some ideas and then tell you guys to do the rest of the work, you may ask? TAC really doesn't interest me all that much. Damned if I'm not going to give some sort of input though.

Thank you for clarifying your pervious statement. Yes it is the character that makes the class unique. That will forever be the truth for all gaming time. I guess I should have been a little more specific with what it is exactly we are looking for.
By original I mean, a class that specializes in an area not yet covered. Two classes you mentioned above would be well worth epanding upon. One is the Alchemist, the other is the Bard. Now i must say that covering ever little advantage is completely a waste of time....
We dont need a chef class that can cook, or a camper class thats good at camping. But like the bard could combine Ether and song to have certain effects on all who listen. That might be a worth while specialty.
I am however sorry that The After Chronicles does not appear interesting to you. That is why we have all these threads asking peoples oppinnions, maybe if we can get people to work on something together they might develope an interest. I know that when I worked on the core book with andy, everytime we went over ideas and calculations I got pulled deeper and deeper into the game. Part of the fun of Kalarsys wasnt just playing the game it was creating it.
It must be said that, TAC isnt a stand alone book. Even though its been operating apart from the core book, TAC is just an expansion to the core book. Its like going from Diablo 2 to Diablo 2 LoD. The heart and sould of TAC is still and shall forever be Kalarsys. Without Kalarsys there is no TAC and without teamwork there is no Kalarsys. Two people, let alone one, cannot make this game progress. Only together can Kalarsys continue to grow.

I think it would be interesting to have a Martial Artist class. We could also make up some martial arts (probably based on real ones) to give each one some variety. Much like Artorians can use swords, axes, spears, etc., a Martial Artist could know different fighting styles, like Boxing (strong attacking, poor defense against weapons), some marital art that specializes in throws, and one that specializes in deflecting incoming attacks and disarming foes.
It would be a lot of work but it could result in some really interesting possibilities.

I do like Lurid's idea for different martial arts since they are many in the world.
As for a class ability for Fist Fighters, kinda of a finishing move when a character is stunned adding extra dice to damage.
Example: Steel, Goliath Fighter, Stunned a Bandit last turn and uses his class ability to pile drive this bandit into the ground his class ability is lvl 3 so three extra to damage roll.
