Someday, we'll need to discuss Kalarsys, but since we can't really get together to easily, we'll need to use TeamSpeak. This list is going to gradually expand until we have our meeting and we'll discuss the stuff listed here (and other stuff as well).
-Character Sheet Design -Kalarsys 0.7.0 Rulebook Layout -Druids, Eidolons, Grottans -Spyre (Creation, Religion, Continents and countries, Timeline of events) -Monsters (small list for core book, rest in a separate book)
Homework: Think of as many original monsters/creatures as you can to fill Spyre. Also, invent a religion. It should have a belief system and a creation story. Magical effects that can be imbued into relics would also be helpful.

*Religion: A) The God: His appearance shows the consequences that you get for any bad karma you put out. He has an eye missing, fingers lost, and his left hand cut off. His wounds aren't fully healed, showing the physical pains you'd have to go through (though he doesn't feel the pain. Don't tell anyone). His companion is a large black tiger, that he doesn't trust. He wears a bright red mask on the back of his head, to symbolize that he is forever watchful (and therefore hard to stab in the back). Through his misdeeds he's developed a strong belief for honor, trust, and also revenge when you are wronged. B) Beliefs: Every living thing has a life force, that is given by the planet. When this organism dies, it then transfers that energy back into the planet, "recycling" the energy back into the planet. This keeps the planet strong. Once back into the planet, it is then put into another organism to use and thrive on. *Creation theory: (work in progress... ) *God's Title: Of Ruthless Justice *Preaches: Cooperation in the towns/country. "Karma" law (eye for an eye). Be the best in what you do. *Law of the land: "Eye-for-an-eye". "Grey Area" for minors, mentally insane/incompetent. Marriage is sacred; dishonesty, adultery ect., consequences are dire. Suicides are considered dishonorable. If captured in time of war, suicide to protect info and/or the country is considered honorable. "Sacrificial Suicide" is considered an honor; if you become a burden, and/or cannot work or function or support yourself, then you can give yourself back to the Earth. The elderly, on the other hand, are considered honroably in their wisdom/knowledge (so no suicides ). *Enviroment: Desert land. Drought-prone. Very little foliage. A large river running through the middle, which is the main sorce of water/farmland/livestock. *Economy: A) Imports: Fruit, veggies, water, milk, wheat, lumber, booze. B) Exports: Meat, furs/skins, clothing, armor, weaponry, ore (copper, iron, gold, silver, ect.), jewels, jewelry, (poison? Maybe sold in vials (most likely), raw (like, the piece of the scorpion tail), or on weaponry?). C) Jobs: Blacksmiths, hunting, vendors, water-gatherer, traveling caravans, farmers (only near the river), selected transporters (to bring items to and from Revorlet), guards AKA "law enforcment". *Festivals/Celebrations: The different towns are very close, and tend to celebrate everything together in one very large (and drunken) celebration (marriages, births, deaths, ect.). Rarely do all the towns come together. However, once a year all the townspeople make a pilgrimage to the Capital, to celebrate the birth of the god (date: June 23rd); all food and water/booze is provided at the ceremony. Festivals are held bi-monthly, to encourage competition (archery, wrestling, mock-swordfights, ect ect...). * update Poison is smokeable when thinned out in the processors and then dried into the blunt and gives off a very tripped high and is very addictive, it is not encouraged to smoke it in the homeland but it is not forbidden neither, most people that are heavy addicts are forced from the drug with work and\or torture, in most cases the addiction starts by first being poisoned on hunting trips. Street name- Poiz OD is very possible, depending on poison resistance level 0- 2 a day very spread out at max level 1- 3 level 2- 4 etc etc Spells: Poison spells Reflect damage, levels will be the cap damage reflected (level 1= 1 damage, etc etc)

I have decided that adding anymore history to this would make it to long.. however if anyone wishes to read about how this small village came to be just ask and I will post it.
Current year: Edmonton is located on a 500 foot rock fortified by a wall with that circles the city. At the bottom of the rock are to rivers that join into one. Several rocks lead up to the city each connected by a bridge. Each rock is massive and a couple stretches on as far as the eye can see.
Background information on the village, its people, and their religion: Edmonton was founded by a wealthy preacher Edward and his followers which consisted of a couple thousand people. Edward preached about a god who saved the human race and many animals by bringing them to the planet Spyre. Twice a year Edward would take a days journey west and bring with him any villagers who wanted to go. Once arrived at the destination (a giant crater) Edward would preach about how their god landed on Spyre on a huge ball of rock. After they made the journey back home the village would have a big celebration. After only being settled for a few years the village was booming and outsiders started to notice Edmonton, and its lack of an army. Soon plunderers and bands of thieves started attacking Edmonton. Edward gathered up all of his hunters and asked them watch the town at night. The hunters did all they could to keep criminals out of Edmonton but one night was particularly bad and the plunderers managed to set the farmers fields aflame. After helping put out the flames Edward spent the next day trying to think of a way to protect his people and fast. Edward was approached by a young boy who suggested to build a bridge up to the rock which was at least 30 feet off the ground, then build a wall for his hunters to hide behind while they shoot arrows at thieves and plunderers. Seeing no other option Edward thanked the boy and gathered up his followers and told them the plan. After a week went by they had the bridge built and the part of the wall built as well. Soon plunderers attacked the city again, but noticed the houses and farms had all been abandoned, all that was left was a bridge. Guessing that's were all the people must have went the plunderers stormed the bridge and got hit with a wave of arrows. No matter how hard the plunderers tried to get up the bridge they just kept getting taken down by arrows. After the plunderers left the village cheered Edwards name, and Edward came up with another plan. He suggested that they build bridges up to the highest rock and thats where they will rebuild Edmonton. 30 years later Edmonton is located 500 some feet above the rivers and well fortified. A huge stone wall populated with many archers surrounds the city. Thieves and plunderers have given up trying to loot the city. At this point Edward is 53 years old and still makes his trips to the crater, and now to the surrounding villages. Because of his age he can only make one trip per year and the whole trip takes about a week to make. Once he returns to his city they throw a week long celebration, Edward once said “the longer the trip the longer the party!”. Soon after Edward turned 56 a messenger came to his city bearing a message from a king only 3 days travel away. The message read “ My people have been leaving me this past decade. Half of my city gone, and why because Edmonton has such great protection. I have decided to march my army over to this city “Edmonton” and show what little protection it offers against my army!”. Sure enough in 3 days an army gathered at the base of Edmonton staring up at it in awe. Edward sent a messenger down to greet the army and to ask them to leave. Then messenger never made it back and the army started advancing up the first bridge. Edward gathered all his archers and told them to fire. A barrage of arrows rained down upon the army, doing very little because the army held up shields made of metal. Edward started thinking of ideas to stop the oncoming army but drew up blank. Then a kid appeared by his side, a kid he seen long ago. The king asked who the kid was the kid replied with “Anthony, and I'm here to help”. The kid explained to him that he is the god that Edward has been preaching about. Anthony told Edward his goal is to protect the weak and let the strong fight each other. He told Edward he needed all his swordsmen and Edward gladly let Anthony have his swordsmen. Next Anthony told Edward to cut a bridge down so that he could stall the army. Finally he asked if Edward could gather all the stone and mud he could find and bring it next to the bridge that Edward cut down. The next day the rival army had a bridge built already. Anthony had told Edward to mix the stone with the mud and make giant balls out of it. Anthony stood with the swordsmen on top of the wall next to the bridge. Anthony gave the swordsmen a bow and a couple arrows and told them just to aim when he said aim. Once the rival army started marching up the bridge Anthony commanded the swordsmen to aim which was also the keyword for Edward and his men to push a giant ball on the bridge. The ball started rolling down the bridge when Anthony yelled “Jump!”. All of the swordsmen discarded their bows, pulled out their swords, and leaped clear on to the next rock! The army although outnumbering the swordsmen 5:1 didn't see this coming until the last second and were totally unprepared for an attack. Edward's swordsmen killed about a third of the army, the other two thirds ran all the way down to the river, and retreated later that day. Since that day many people in or around Edmonton have claimed to see or be helped by the young god Anthony. Some joke that he helped build a bridge to the planet Spyre and that's how humans and animals got there.

Xullian, God of Brotherhood
Appearance:
Standing about 5’8” is a fair skinned almost angelic faced young man. (about the age of 17) Even with his mild frame he is clad in full heavy plate armor, to symbolize an impenetrable will to protect himself/ and others. In his right hand he brandishes a huge 6’ long bastard sword to show that even those who are inferior can hold great strengths. His left hand however show him coddling a small child to further demonstrate bravery when it comes to protecting pure innocence. His helmet is semi-transparent and dons characteristics of an eagle, this symbolizes the range of his sight and will to protect. Every vital point on a human body is marked with what should be seen a horrific scars from battle, showing to all that sacrificing ones self for a greater cause is an action worthy of praise, even from the gods themselves.
Beliefs: The people who believe in Xullian are taught that thousands of years ago there was a great army of pure evil that roamed the entire solar system destroying all that it saw unfit to survive. Finally this great evil made its way to the section of the galaxy were Spyre was just beginning its own life. Quickly the army left the planet in utter destruction, burning all and killing everything. As they were about to depart back into space to find its next target a scream ripped through the planet and shook the very cosmos. Walking out from the new light surrounding the planet was Xullian. He, at the time, only wore clothes fit for a farmer’s child. His long blond hair blowing in the wind, he reached into the metal enriched mountains and pulled from it the very armor he wears now. From the stars he pulled forth his helmet. Finally, using great strength he slammed his right hand into the magma filled planet and acquired his sword known as “ Spyrendalge” in honor to the planet. For many years they battled one verses millions, and Xullian was losing. For it was unknown to him at the time but the leader of darkness know as Lysichal was the core of the whole army. After many more years of fighting Xullian had reached his limit, he could hardly lift his own sword. It was at this moment that Lysichal grabbed Xullian from behind to hold him still while his minions began to aim the final blow. In this time Lysichal began to taunt Xullian with stories of worlds that have been destroyed and how much he enjoyed the feeling of crushing an infants skull with his own bare hands. This enraged Xullian to find new strength and in one quick cleave he turned his sword through Lysichal and himself leaving both dead. As the darkness retreated from the body of Lysichal it reveal the very much alive body of a small child. The child having regained control over himself quickly knelt down beside Xullian’s body. Seeing how this complete stranger sacrificed all to bring peace brought the boy to tears as he openly wept over Xullian. It was through the divine powers of the child that these tears began to revitalize and rejuvenate Xullian back to the living world. The remnants of darkness having witnessed defeat and the miracle of resurrection found Xullian a worthy host. However as the darkness lunged at Xullian, Xullian, using the flat side of the blade splattered the darkness into the cosmos and using trillions upon trillions of little orbs of light trapped the darkness in the cosmos. Thus symbolizing that even in great darkness there is light. With the battle won Xullian turned to Spyre as it still lay in ruins. He felt great sadness that even though the darkness was defeated, he still fail to restore the planet. The small child sensing his pain reached out and touched “Spyrendalge”. upon doing so the dark souls that Xullian’s blade claimed were instantly purified and sent into Spyre so that the planet can repair and restore itself. With all turning to normal Xullian picked up the small child and departed back to the heavens awaiting the day he will have to do battle with the darkness again.

I really really tried with this. The format for it all was inspired by ZW. As for the location of it all... well ZW took harsh desertland, you took the high mountains, and well that left either grasslands or swampland, or other kinds that i can't think of right now so.... i chose grasslands...

The religion I'm inventing is...under development.
Here's a couple of things that came up when we were thing to play on 123 Flash Chat: -Language: Each continent has its own language plus a common one they all speak? Just a common one? -Bow: Weapon ACC is probably going to be -2 or -3. -2 seems good for now. Damage will be Pull + Arrow Damage. Can arrows be evaded?

I would give an evasion chance of EVA/2.

yeah that sounds good, either that or no..cause with that minus 2 you need a prof of 2 to be able to use just your regular accuracy, although as a ranger that should still be pretty good considering the pull is based on strength and strength raises your accuracy so yeah id say EVA\2

Well, I wasn't going to make a religion/continent but then I had some ideas that I thought wouldn't be too bad.
--------------------------- Goddess: Abella of the Sea (or another, better name if I can think of one) Continent: Flint Location: Somewhere near the equator of Sypre Main Town/Village: Mortar Climate: Warm winters, but very harsh summers
Land Description: Flint is an island with a diameter approximately 100 miles. It's perimeter is nothing but beaches, but about five to ten miles of the beach is inhabitable due to the nearby volcano and it's frequent eruptions (figure that to be the east side of the island). Occasionally, the eruptions will seep into the other parts of the island, causing some destruction and few deaths. The inner parts of the island is home to several caves and a lush, tangled forest (with a few springs); while this is mainly untouched by the natives, they freely navigate through it on a daily basis. However, unknown dangers such as poisonous plants and snakes also inhabit the land.
The Myth of Abella: It has been said that many years ago, a ship en route to Revorlet for their yearly pilgrimage had gotten caught up in a storm and swept away to the remote island of Flint. A great handful survived, and they lived off the remaining cargo while they try tried to frantically find their way around the island as well as creating signals in hopes of flagging down a ship. Days passed, and they ran out of food, and started to lose hope on surviving or being found, when suddenly, a voice spoke to the young women in the group:
"If you wish to eat, cast away your worldly possessions."
The group was reluctant, but sent off their trinkets and weapons out to sea and also burned them. A day or two passed with several casualties, and sure enough, a young boar wandered out of the woods, and was promptly captured and eaten. Some of the people retraced the boar's steps and found the boar's family. Nearby they also found several types of fruit trees. The people ate well for a while. But another problem arose within a week. The volcano erupted and several more lives were taken as the group ran for their lives. The voice spoke to the women yet again:
"You and your descendants, follow Abella for the rest of your lives, and I shall give you adequate shelter."
The people were upset to abandon their previous Gods, but did so. After another day or two, some people noticed a flock of seagulls gathering in one area in the distance and followed them, coming across several palm trees suitable for cutting down and making shelter, and craggy rocks on the sea for fishing. Houses were made and so were crude weapons for hunting, and even boats. That is when the people noticed that they were missing a lot of things that they needed, such as vegetables and meats, and better weapons. They wished to keep contact with the other nations. So Abella spoke once more to them:
"Spread my teachings and gather followers, and I will show you the way to your old homes."
Religion: The Goddess Abella abhors excessive living (such as money and clothes and trinkets). Unlike the Eidolons, however, the natives of Flint are allowed to craft weapons and armor for fighting and hunting. Killing is looked down on, but is acceptable under life-threatening circumstances. The villages in Flint are ruled not by a mayor, but by a priestess who can 'hear' the voice of Abella. The priestess must be a virgin, and must have undergone a series of tests such as ones of endurance and strength to prove her worth as a leader. Therefore, abstinence is encouraged for women up to 16 who wish to become a priestess. The leader generally serves her village for life so long as she remains a virgin and can retake the tests with her would-be competitors. Anybody who defiles the priestess is immediately killed, and such an act is viewed to be one of the worst sins a person can commit.
Language: While the natives generally speak the 'common' language, they have also developed a series of signals that have aided them during hunting and the occasional mock fights between villages. They have called this sign language Fii-ka (or whatever I want to call it later on >.>).
Lifestyle: The bronze-colored Flintians are a rather self-sufficient people whose diet consists of fish and fruit, and the occasional meat. Meat is rather uncommon in order to keep the boars from going extinct, but is often eaten during weddings and religious celebrations. One celebration is during our month of September when the boar count is very high, and one celebration is during our month of June when the fish count is high. The June celebration is also the supposed time the ancestors of the myth landed on Flint. -The lifespan of a Flintian is short, and the population of the island is limited to several thousand people. Infants and older adults often die of heat exhaustion during the hottest parts of the year. -While self-sufficient, the Flintians keep trade and friendly ties with other nations for the things they need such as vegetables, clothing, wheat, ale, and sturdy weapons. But they often find that they need protection the most. Being a relatively small group of people with crude weapons, they are outmatched by anyone who would want to conquer the island. Thus, depending on time periods, will claim neutrality or ally themselves with one of the warring nations, trading with only that nation.
Exports: Fish, boar, exotic food (snake, larvae, etc), flint, diamonds, jewelry, metal (maybe iron at best), volcanic rocks (obsidian, carbon, etc), certain woods, tropical fruits (including the fictional Everberry! Amazing in pies!), and baskets.
Imports: Wheat and other bread products, vegetables, meat, cotton, weapons, armor, protection, metals.
Jobs: Hunters, gatherers, traders, guards (small militia), hut and boat builders, fishers, crafters, blacksmiths, miners (caves and volcanoes), priestess/priests, watchmen.
--------------------------- Okay, I tried to make that as complete as possible, but I'm sure there is much to be done with this that I can't think of. The whole myth thing is literally just a myth like everybody else's myth. A boar wanders out of the wood because he can't smell the scent of metal, and the people eventually wandered around until they found a good place to stay, things like that. I realize I don't have a description for Abella-what's-her-face just yet. I'm still kinda thinking about that one. Alright, I'm done.

The Great Glacier and Misty Marshes of Illusidar
God A: Seavir (SEE-ah-VEER) God of Creation God B: Halaset (HAHL- eh-SEHT) God of Death That's right TWO gods... Story: Seavir and Halaset were orirginally mortal brothers who were in a constant state of turmoil. Born in a time of Great change and upheaval they lived and worked together to try to bring peace to there home country, Illusidar the great plains in the North. They were happy for the most part, living as simple fisher-farmers with their wives and children isolated from the worst of the problems. Until, that is, a new and tyrannical king came and took their land. Their wives and daughters executed for refusing to submit to him and his cruel armies. After watching their families being slaughtered when the swords were tuned toward them a miracle happened. In their moment of grief and rage they were lifted up and became what is now known as The Brothers' Flame and then vanished. A year passed under the Tyrant King's rule when the Flames first returned. In one fell strike the waters rose from the ocean destroying all in their path drowning the gaurds and finally trapping the king in his own tower. The next morning the water was frozen solid all the way through and the Flames that had lit up the sky so brillantly the day before were gone. Another year passed and the heavy and deadly cold would not leave the land during that time. Then came the Flames and the ice receeded a great distance leaving behind a swamp. Seavir walked along the edge of the glacier no longer mortal, his hair was bright blonde and shining, he exuded warmth with every movement on his hand four golden rings representing his family so he would always remember why he became immortal, his head crowned by clouds that would change with his mood and with the weather, clothed in purest white. From his foot steps sprang the Marshtribes of the Swamp and the Frosttribes of the Glacier. His brother Halaset walked along the edge of the ice shelf he to had changed on his hand he wore three silver rings to always remind him of his family, Clad in a dark cloak it is said he has no true form as Death is many things to many people but always inevitable. When they met again the wept over the place their fallen loved ones were laid within the Glacier and from their combined tears sprang the Brothers' Heart, a rare cactus whose flowers extract is prized in healing the sick and as a drug used in vision quests conducted by the preists of their order that grows only on the Glacier. The brothers gave the law to their people and once again left to become the Flame.
Laws: With few exceptions Illusidar has the lowest crime rate of any country which can be attributed to their court system. There are no cops when someone commits a crime and they are accused they have a time limit this can be anything from two hours for an acusation of treason to 24 hours for theivery to prove they are innocent if they cannot they are found guilty and immediatly executed. No exceptions. They do however only apply this law to their own peoples outsiders have fines and other penalties they must pay rather than death, however outside their own country if you steal from them they will find you and kill you. All characters from The Glacier or Swamp have this sense of justice. Also NO EXCEPTIONS!
Festivals: Once a year when the lights return there is a grand festival with much feasting, dancing and drinking of various spiced ales and wines called the Brothers' Flame Festival. Another festival is the day legend tells that the brothers were born as mortals though it has no name. Births are celebrated with much vigor in a local sense and honorable deaths (those people who aren't criminals) are also have special feasts in localized context.
Beliefs: The preists of Illusidar are nomadic. They teach that life is the greatest beauty there is but that death is no less elegant. They are taught to find their own way through the world but hold elders and family in VERY high regard. Although they encourage it love is usually not a factor in most unions although trust and friendship ALWAYS are. "Discord and Hatred cannot exsist within the home." Children are considered a blessing the greatest one can recieve. Women are considered equal in all ways to men and generally hold more power anyway because women are said to have Seavir's blessing from the moment they are born till they go to meet Halaset within the flame. Funerals are always made with a pyre and the dead are always cremated.
Enviroment: ranging from warm murky swamps in the west and the frigid ice shelf to the east the people of Illusidar have hard and compared to other people relativly short lives.
Imports: (Marshtribes) Metals, Cloth, and Leather. Exports: (Marshtribes) Fish, Medicine, Oil, and Stone. Imports: (Frosttribes) Leather, Metals, Wood and fruits/vegetables. Exports: (Frosttribes) Wool, Salt, Cactus ale, and Exotic Meats. Jobs: (Marshtribes) Hunters, Sailors, Miners, Medicine men... Jobs: (Frosttribes) Sledsmen, Herbologist, Shepherds...
Well what do you guys think? Pretty good or pretty bad?
