I'm going to be holding a session about future Spyre and ive decided to write down what the future looks like on Spyre and how things have changed. This means that i will be taking the different continents and revamping them. if you dont like what i did with one or think i should add something post it here. since we never really held a session in future Spyre i think this will be alot of fun.
Desert-Land
Time has not been well to the Desert-Land, it is now more barren than ever. Most cities are in the middle of the Desert-Land near the main city. Since it has got so hot the people have decided to build solar domes. These domes are made out of plasma that recycles itself, it helps keep heat out as well as UV rays, and it doesn't harm the planet. There are a bunch of small domes around the smaller cities but the biggest dome can be found in the main city which stretches about 30 miles wide.
Any outsiders traveling through must roll their willpower every hour to see if they can withstand the intense heat. i will be using trine and what im looking for is atleast one 6 or 3 and for every three hours of travel ill be looking an additional 3 or 6. ofcourse if your from Desert-Land you take no such penalties
Since many outsiders dont travel there anymore they have become almost afraid of the people that live there, thinking that the people are savages because they believe sacrificing yourself is a good thing.
And they have good reason to avoid Desert when possible.. Sometimes people take an "eye for an eye" to far for example "you stepped on my foot you SONOFABITCH "-slices throat-. People like that have been banned from cities and live off the desert. Some of them have grouped together and will kill anything that moves on the desert if it means it will keep them alive another day.
Escarpa (what was once known as Edmonton but finally I've found a better name. I like the name Escarpa because it reminds me of Escape {like how they escaped from their enemies by climbing the mountains} and it also is derived from the word Escarpment which is transition zone between different physiogeographic provinces that involves a sharp, steep elevation differential, characterized by a cliff or steep slope. so thats pretty kool)
After a few hundred years the people of Escarpa realized that they were running out of land, so they did the only thing they knew how to do... go up!
i will edit this later im going to try running the session now.
