It is November and Whasit-fest is starting january first right? So Why hasn't anyone managed to find out the important details to this trip that realisticly should have been finalized at the begining of last month? I know we are all busy what with school work and other RL activities and I know that part is my fault for not getting started myself but still. We need to get this stuff sorted out:
1. Who all is going?
2. How are we getting there?
3. Where are we staying?
4. How much is this all gonna cost?
5. When are we leaving/returning?
IF my guesstimations are right it's going to cost us close to $200 per room per night If we stay five nights (12/31-1/5) thats $1000 JUST for ONE room. Even if we double up and get three rooms (assuming Lurid, COF, Torke, and Zain and whoever else is going) thats $3000 combined just to stay there, nevermind transportation there and back and for the duration of the visit, food, registration for this thing we're all going too, and any suveniers or special crap that we want to get or do. All total I think IF we budget it right we can get away with $1500 per person BUT it would be a VERY good idea to have more than that available. The good news is that on Expedia I have found a few hotels that would be acceptable for about $132 a night, the Bad news is that they are probobly no where near the place this thing is being held and they don't have the greatest reveiws on them still its a start.
