A Pokemon ripoff made by the guy responsible for creating the Shin Megami Tensei series?

I'm going to 'unofficially obtain' this game and tell you guys what I think. This may get put on my Christmas list!

Okay, I've played it for a while and I've got some comments.
It isn't horrible, but it isn't nearly as amazing as I thought it would be. Certainly a decent game, though. The characters look a bit ridiculous, and though the battles are in full 3D, they aren't the "full contact" action I was hoping for. Also, NPCs suffer from okay-you've-been-talking-for-ten-minutes-straight-stfu-plz syndrome quite often.
It really does seem to be a Pokemon ripoff in many ways, though. You catch demons, you can trade them and battle them with your friends, etc...
The game looks pretty decent graphics-wise and the music is pretty good, too. I'll probably pick up a copy at some point. (Not new, mind you. I'll settle for used. '^_^)
