well we should keep it the same if we are keeping dice... right??maybe up to the ts on thier game... keeping it like this we could bring our own sessions from off this board and be able to play on the boards correct?

well we cant keep xp the same cause the session will never end, so i dunno i think it should be distributed as it is used

So, perhaps it should just be left up to the TS to decide then?

yes the ts should decide... besides there will be "sessions" like a time when its booming when everyone is on and there will be a time when ppl have to leave and sleep so technically you still could keep xp the same...

It would be very difficult to determine the end of every session. Considering that we could play at any time, it would be a bit rediculous to give out five points every day.
Okay, here's what I think we should probably do:
Try some non-Kalarsys roleplay for a while, then start to implement Kalarsys stuff into our playing style as we go. Any thoughts?

it sounds good but id kinda like to test it off bat and well why cant the ts just decide to put the xp in the skill they deserve it in? *looks at my past responses to the xp thing but waiting for a straight out negative instead of ignoreing it*

The only problem with that, Zain, is that combat skills tend to level up much faster because they are used more often. I like the idea, and there could be a way to get it working. That's why I didn't just shoot it down.

*shrugs* well yeah i get your drift on that, but well it makes sense to me thats all im really getting at you know i mean sure there other stats wont level as much but well im not going to get smarter if i fight, like im not going to get buffer if i study, so it really determines how the story goes to what levels more, and with an eidolon there int. and con. will accually go up cause they use those for fighting..uh right?

Yeah, makes more sense than anything else we've come up with so far. By the way, I wish some other people would get in on this. I'm going to put a link to this thread in my sig.

Well, it seems to be rather logical... but it does depend on the type of session and on the TS, too. Say for instance a particular TS likes to make a whole bunch of fights. Well, it raises str and maybe some int, but that's about it. Hey, how about some sort of freebie exp? Not much of it, of course. Where you let the player decide where they'd like to put some of the experience, so that it's a bit evened out a bit. Along with the exp you get from stuff like fighting..

hmm yeah maybe the xp you get from the chosen skill you only give half that xp to the skill they work on then the rest of the xp is like free to distrubute, just a thought

That could work, but it also may lead to peolpe beefing up their combat stuff even more. How any ideas about the "EXP for posting" idea? Maybe 1 EXP for every 5 posts or something? It would force participation, but punish those who don't have readily available internet access (dial-up for instance). Any ideas?

yeah and it wouldnt really go into the session at all you know, oh and with the freebie xp you could split it into 3, some of it for body some of it for mind and some for the skill columns, kinda solves the imense beefing of 1 stat
