yeeah i beat the penetrator then got decided to do some farming from his keep and helping people beat the penetrator (helping is worth the souls XD) THEN i decided to head over to the tower of latria and beat the first stage, thanks to the help of some guy that stayed with me the whole way through the dungeon i rocked it. but i havent really tried to much past the penetrator's keep in bolteria, those 3 archers and those 3 flame dudes kinda scared me off, they didnt give me a chance the 1st time so i thought training would be a good idea

oh my speaking of people invading i have two stories i have to tell about that. i went and invaded someone elses world in stormwind tunnel and you know the lava pit in there that you extinguish with sand to get to the boss later? well i invaded and started the the start (Go figure) and i stood there noticing they haven't raised the conveyor belt that takes you down to the blacksmith just yet. so i start to walk towards the tunnel and hear the conveyor be activated. and i think "awesome, you just fucked yourself hardcore pal" and i run up to the belt and jump on, get to the top and i notice the fog still over the door to your right when you get through the cave. i keep going a little and look down into the lava and think "damn this person hasnt dont anything on this level.." and when i get to the thought of "da-" they sneak up, stab me in the back, and the stab doesn't kill me, but the kick into the lava does. i rofled my ass off at the awesomeness, i hunted down that persons name and left a paragraph of how awesome that person was. i was baffled at how bad i fucked up, or how good at being sneaky that person was. and another time.


at the 2nd part of the tower of storms? i think thatd be 5-2. i just beat the 5-1 boss and a guy invaded. needless to say he was strong as fuck but i was barely holding him off when he ran down the tunnel and hid behind the npc. me being battle shit crazy. 2 handed through the npc and into him. the npc started trying to kill me and i luckily killed the npc and was able to make a run from the phantom. i got out to the main part where it opens up. and we went at it till all of my armor and all of my weapons were broke. and i mean ALL. i was able to take refuge in this one corner by the left set of stars. you can drop down if your very careful not to fall off the edge. but it looks imposable to get back (which you can get back with some very very careful maneuvering) and i stayed there for a good hour, us both spearing each other through the wall. and then hed start shooting magic and id start firing crossbow bolts. needless to say neither of us were even close to dieing and i was pussing out for about 3 hours back there. (i thought you lost all your souls when you died and i had 60k that i really was willing to sit for hours to keep, little did i know...you don't loose your souls. well you get that bloodstain still i mean) eventually he ran off to dick around. and i ran up stairs and summoned a person (lucky soul sign spot, all people i summoned got a D -.-) well i summoned 1 guy and we ran down the hall epically for him to be stabbed in the face and killed in one hit. "Oh FUCKSHIT!" i scream as i rerun down the hall and rehide myself. he doesn't even bother following me. so i slowly head back up and summon another person. "alright this guy has the dragon slayer. were ready to fuck this guy hard" we gallop back down the tunnel but this time he sneaks up behind my new found friend, stabs him in the back, and shoves him into the bit below to die. "oh fuck!, i may have 20 faith and have some good miracles but no god is helping my ass currently" i think as rerunning down and taking refuge on the other side and not the much harder to get to side. i start spamming my evacuate spell and to no prevail it doesn't work of course. as i wait there he slowly starts coming to me as i equip this new katana i found and of course i suck with it. (zain+katana=fail) we duke it off on an edge of the cliff till he rebreaks my randomly found shield and my katana, then he stabs me in the back and kicks me off the cliff.....it was some epic pussage d(^.^)b


i really do love the multiplayer, pvp and the teaming. just wish we could all team up, which we could but wed need to have our ps3s in the same room or have speaker phone just to set it up, and be 10 levels away from each other and more. but i found those two times completely awesome that i had to put them out here. Ive had some epic multiplayers, and some really funny ones. the funniest mostly being i let a boulder go and it hit me and another guy and we both just looked at eachother and did the sigh emote. another one where the boulder went down the stairs. around the corner. and smacked my teammate and killed him. XD....any who..ill wrap this up..thanks for listening!

sounds like you had a hell of a time. I might have to look into the game. I've youtube-ed it a few times... and it doesnt look as hard as it sounds... then again there is a huge difference between how it looks and how it is... So i guess i still dont have an opinnion right now. Though the realism of multiplayer deaths... like releasing a borlder that goes rolling over a team mate killing them does add a kind of flair to the game. like SMBwii where you can either help or hurt each other... makes the game challanging and also fun.

you better be fully prepared for the challenge though. take pso and pretend your constantly fighting olga flow on ult. okay okay its not THAT hard, but depending on your play style is really the difficultly of it. me with my trusty spear ive been rocking most of the game actually. of course ive had a few moments (most likely more then a few) but i cant say im a very "Get frustrated" with a game kinda guy till it gets ludicrously cheap. and the game is almost never cheap. its just straight out realistically hard. no enemy really cheats (except for Cthulus, FUCK THEM) but! multiplayer is hardcore lacking. there is no real communication between you and ANYONE except through the messages. if you get mindly into the game like i do, you will feel alone, scared, and weak no matter what. the second you feel strong they will fuck you insanely for your over confidence. and with no teammate communication, you need to know these emotes inside and out and know what your doing. ive met some very interesting people online just through the emotes and they have lead me awesome places thanks to me listening to the emotes. through multiplayer (i believe anyways) when your summoning a person to help you. you pretty much make them teamleader. if you die, its over, so your the VIP of this team always. if your the one who summons atleast. also if summon someone, chances are they know this dungeon inside and out.

but enough about that. i also wanted to point out that this game reminds me of PSO way to much. although the items\weapons dont really exsist to much at all, the 5 archstones and there being bosses with each stage in the archstone, and it eventually leads all the way to the final boss. reminds me of PSO in that sense. but! if you are not careful (unlike pso usually) your face will be smashed into shit and you will be forced to eat it. if you cant handle challenges, this game will break controllers and destroy TVs. If you dont like feeling alone, you will cry like a little girl when you wander the prison of Latria and Cthulu paralyzes you, picks you up, and skull fucks you with his tongue. d(^.^)b but emotionally invovled in a game like this is what truly makes it shine if you ask me. if you cant put your mind to it, and you play to win. you'll not only be disappointed, but you'll be owned.

Also...dont look for music in the game XD there is almost NONE, (has played with SE off and music full for a while) most music only comes in during boss fights, or the very final parts of the game (hasnt been through the final dungeon, but i did notice the organ start up in the nexus)

so for me, if you can get emotionally invested, i said 9\10. if not, then i say 6\10, if your easily frustrated, then i say 1\10 because you wont make it past the first dungeon (not including the trial dungeon), be forwarned, the trial dungeon treats you like a god.

not to make myself sound over qualified but i know a challenging game when i play one ;D whos an elitist and has two thumbs? this guy. d(^.^)b

lmao this is soooo true.. my roommate played this game for about 2 hours.. then he got to the bridge where the dragon breathes fire... he died there... and on his way back he died again..

"sooo all those souls that were on the bridge are gone forever?"

wellll i just beat the game. have to say i was kinda disappointed in the ending. but what do you expect when there isnt that much story to begin with? i let the maiden live. caant be to sure about doing that next time....................................still going with 9\10, story isnt much there, but i still enjoy it alot even on new game + ^^

I think the game is great. I just took me a bit to over-level so my squishy wizard could stand up to the enemies enough to take them down. (Actually, most bosses were push-overs compared to the levels for me. The Tower Knight took some skillful dodging, but besides that...)

Of course, I went and finished Half-Life 2 first. I'm still only level 47 and no where near beating the game and getting to New Game +.

One thing that really, really pisses me off about the game is that if you play it on a standard definition TV with a 4:3 aspect ratio (normal TV proportions), the game is letterboxed 16:9 on your screen. Imagine poor ol' me with my 12' TV, blurry as shit, and not only that but the game only takes up half of it. It's BS.

Someone buy me an HDTV, please... my birthday is coming up...

Oh, oh, oh - YOU GUYZ!

It's weird. I think it was just that Boletaria first-part, but once I got past that part, it...didn't get easier, but I suppose it got more fun, therefore wasn't so frustrating. >.> <.< So yeah, I'm poking through the other levels of Boletaria now. *thumbs up* Took me long enough!

And DP looked up that Miralda was down that cell door in the first part of the game (it's just down the steps, near two of those Soul Depraved Guys [never learned what they are really called]). If you have pure-white tendency, she'll drop her armor and a ring (DP got that stuff! Warning: Female Only Clothes!). If you have pure black, she drops her axe. Me being Eow, I'm all over the guillotine axe.

So we formulated a way to get black tendency. Eow with black tendency? It was scary and confusing. But I'd help people on the Tower Knight, and then go kill myself (that gives you -30% to your Tendency). You ever kill yourself in fire? Your character flails around realistically and screams - it's creepy (but that doesn't count, you have to BE killed, I found out a bit later.... -.-).

Bad groups, people ending the session early, having NO herbs, and RAAAAAAAAGEing later...

I have it. It's not as good at my other axe at the moment (starts at 87 though), but my noob-axe is +3 at 104, so I can't say anything. You need 20 str to wield it, I have 18 (FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUU-!!).

I'd like to grab up her armor also. Well, just the body of it, the helmet creeps me out. Then the next plan of action is to get the Fat Mage Man's hat. THEN Eow will be complete!! *mwahahaha*

Nice to see you're getting the hang of it!

About a week from now I should have all the equipment I need to connect my PS3 and Wii to my monitor instead of my shitty 12" TV. It involves some $20 universal component cables and a $50 component-to-VGA (the computer video plug) box. Plus the shipping, it ends up being around $100, but that's fine if I can get HD video without buying a new HDTV. It's much cheaper and less bulky! All of this crap should be arriving over the course of the coming week, and with any luck I'll have my set-up all ready by a week from Monday. At which point I may end up staying at school over the weekend a few times.

Oh, and there will be some Demon's Souls played. It'll be great to be able to actually SEE WHAT THE FUCK I AM DOING AND WHO IS STABBING MY SPLEEN WITH WHICH WEAPON. Yay!!

I buy tons and tons of Crescent Moon Grass and Fresh Spice. I use a lot of them, too, so sometimes I go to an area and rack up a couple thousand souls just to restock.

annnnnnd got Cheidra to level 60sh shes a tank <.<; well not a tank tank more like a rusher, and shes doing a little TOO well with some basic fire magic and her rapiers....Floyd who i remade is around 30 and its harsh to duel wield effectively, at least to riposte right with a scimmy in my left..
