My HD Box arrived. Now I'm never going to get any homework done.
When I can pull myself away from Metroid Prime Trilogy and Metal Gear Online I intend to play some Demon's Souls and catch up. I'm way behind everyone with my level 50 wizard...

you're horribly behind, all my chars are way above you, except floyd and siegfried are around 50 now siggy is fucking hard to play........claws\fist weapons, my god.........dex\end\vit stats only, and luck of course but goooodddaaamn, he made demon souls so much harder for me

Ha! That'll slow your ass down! Probably not enough for me to finish Metroid Prime 1, 2 and 3 (again), though. Now that I can play my PS3 at 1080p, I can't seem to tear myself away from my Wii...

I started actually started playing demon souls. the game isnt easy, that much is certain. However unlike other rp games it plays out your character as an actual human. lots of games play out the hero as an invincible force that cant be stopped... this game makes you feel like an average person trying to save the world... and that is awesome!

Ha! That'll slow your ass down! Probably not enough for me to finish Metroid Prime 1, 2 and 3 (again), though. Now that I can play my PS3 at 1080p, I can't seem to tear myself away from my Wii... isnt that alittle ironic? although with zain ive got to the point where im just...done. beaten it 3 times, got the Istralle and everything he uses maxed out. the game doesnt get much harder past newgame+, but it does slightly increase and i still get 1 shotted most of the time. Siggy is a whole fucking different story. i cant even begin to explain how difficult it is, Tearing Claws+3 is pretty awesome. but to get passed the red knights, the dicks with soldier shields and spears. no 2 handing available with fist weapons. the lack of any miracles or magic (which actually isnt that big of a deal) but to get in that close is crazy. especially trying to riposte because half the time thats the only way i can kill some of them. ive gotten good, but of course not good enough. also have dragon iron knuckles in my left hand with the tearing claws in my right. those hands of gods can go fuck themselves. while Floyd on the other hand is...insanely easy.....yeah the duel weilding makes it so i have no shield but rushing enemies pretty much defeats the purpose of having one. while Cheidra is overly powerfully insane, with the insanity catalyst and the moon spiral rapier and a large two hander, i pretty much plowed through the game with her insanely easily. that is my only complaint on this game, that once you know the game, you pretty much got it down pat and shouldnt struggle to much (atleast after newgame+) with zain i beat new game++ in about 2 hours and i havent really started on newgame+++ just...because <.< |
