www.rpgobjects.com/index.php?c=orpgOpenRPG is a virtual tabletop for your role-playing adventures that can be used over local networks and the Internet. At the recent request of one of our forum members, I have posted this link to it (rather than trying to create my own program from scratch). Perhaps we might be able to put this to use to play Kalarsys over the Interwebz.

Okay wow you werent kidding when you said it was complicated Lurid. I managed to at least find my way around a bit and stumbled across a web page for plugins for the program and while thats not particularly interesting in and of itself (not very many exsisting and of those most were completely useless) the really cool thing is that they had a plugin that apparently lists instructions on hoe to make OTHER plugins. Beyond that it has a built in dice roller and chat, it even seems to be able to keep track of character sheets. The only seeming downside is its not-so-friendly user interface. Ive barely managed to figure out how to change the grid size. To be honest I think someone else needs to look at it I dont really have textures or miniatures and the like to make a decent map.

Textures aren't a big problem. You can set a background color and just use that, or if you want to get creative we could rip some textures out of the various Unreal Tournament games. Regardless, it's probably just going to be a distraction to have to dig through the convoluted interface to set the texture for every encounter.
As for miniatures, that probably won't be a big deal, either. If nothing else, we could just use or modify sprites from Fire Emblem games in a pinch. But since they aren't something that will change very often (unlike background textures), once you find one you like for your character you're pretty much set.
I'll have to re-install this program and see if I can figure it out. Ever since I installed Windows 7 I never got around to it for whatever reason.
