Trust me, it was my intent to leave you guys hanging for a while without a new NPCGen just to see if I could drive up demand. Well, I completely failed and created it. Whoops! Though it is much prettier, being a Windows program and all, it is still compatible with the old NPCGen4/5 name files. Personally, I think the design could use a little more work; it's not as pretty as it could be. Also, I was thinking of adding a built-in editor for the name files. It doesn't seem like it would be that hard to do... Please, I'd like some feedback on this. I'll probably be staring at this page hitting the refresh button for lack of anything better to do. Well, here it is. Click on the screenshot to download it.

I guess considering it's a generator for NPCs, it is fine, but if you wanted to make a quick game and use it for actual PCs, the points doesn't always distribute the way they should. For instance, I asked it to distribute 6 points and all six went to my Con/Dex, which completely goes against the Kalarsys rule... I really like the interface, though. It's more user-friendly now.

Considering it's called NPCGen, maybe that isn't a big issue? ;D
Thanks, but I think the interface could use a bit more work (much like the new KDice). They're functional, though.

Okay, I added the HP, ACC and EVA. I didn't update the screenshot (too lazy), but clicking it points you to a download of the new version.

I was wondering if there would be a way that once you put in all your values needed and pushed generate it would give you the character.... for example.....
Name: John
STR:4 VIT:3 INT:3 WIL:5 CON:2 DEX:4 ...other stuff here too ( HP, MP, ect)
but lets say we like the name john... but not the stats....
is it possible in the same program to have it regen the stats without effecting the generated name.... and vise versa..?

Sure, that shouldn't be a problem at all. I'm away from home for a few days, though, but I'll do it when I get back.
By the way, has anyone taken a look at the new KDice? There haven't been any comments, so I'm wondering if everyone has seen it...
