Yes, Anti-logic, it's sweeping through Arby's at the DuBois mall. The new-ish girl that was there today has what is possibly the worst case I've ever seen. She, for reasons beyond my understanding, has decided that she is going to dump her current boyfriend who has been described as loyal and caring, to go back to an ex of hers that has cheated on her no less than three times and is generally an asshole to her anyway. Her reasons for doing this are irrational and obscenely shallow. One is the new jewelry he has bought her, another is she thinks he has changed or will change for her, the last is that he is "yummy". Naturraly I tore those to shreds in a matter of moments but wonder of wonders she clings to them still and rufutes reason and past experience as lies and flukes. Please I beg someone to explain such a mindset to me. I wouldn't care but this seems like she's dumping a guy like myself to go after an ass. Something that hits a little too close to home within my own sordid past.

If you can help it, you'd be doing yourself a favor by not getting involved at all. I'd hate to generalize, but there are some women to whom logic does not intuitively occur. These people are unlikely to be happy for the foreseeable future because the only things they cling to are the things that care nothing for them or actively abuse them. There's just no helping people like this; they evidently just need to get hurt enough times to learn on their own.

The best advice i can give is to not take the personal lives of others personally. She is going to have to live her own life and hopefully learn from the her mistakes. However its not even our business to be talking about this anyways.
