Uh... no... It'd be pretty cool if someone like Leon just started casting magic...
...The White Mage in and of itself aren't appreciated enough. Just because they can't fight doesn't mean they're not helpful.

Maybe they don't get magic on RE because that might make it too easy. Indeed, white mages are not appreciated enough, but sometimes they get the attention they deserve. The White Mage Journal is one man's journey though the first Final Fantasy with a party of all white mages. Don't worry, he's a profesional. |

I'll believe it when I see it. I can understand the party of white mages pulling it off, but a solo mage is going to have some serious trouble.

Yeah, black mages are cool, but they're way over appreciated. I'd like to see someone take down FF with a single black mage. Wouldn't be very easy, despite the rock-out-loud spells.

Well, in real life thieves suck balls, but in video games they make a pretty nifty addition to a party. People might not like them much because they're weak, but those people end up having to restart their games because they didn't have a THIEF to run away fast enough.
