*becomes narroter* hours passed as the 4 of them traveld it slowly becomes nighttime, by this time the road traveld on is surronded by fields as far as the eye can see with wildlife being the only sign of life at this time. ooc: if i do a time skip like i just did and you wanted to do something before that let me know and ill delete this post so you can continue  |

OOC: Fine by me. I don't think we could've dragged that out any longer anyways, heh.
"Hmph," Freya scoffed as she surveyed the darkening sky. She continued walking on in silence for a couple of minutes before she spoke again. "We aren't going to make it much further today; we should set up camp soon." Without giving anybody a chance to reply (including Ronin OOC: I'm assuming he's still in the lead?), she stopped and dropped her bags on the ground. She sat down next to them and pulled out some rations from her pack.

Talla had been following Freya the whole time. She hadn't said a word the whole time they had been traveling, and it wasnt like she had anything to talk about. She almost bumped into Freya when the missionary stopped, but stepped to the side and tripped alittle, startled. Back in reality, she sat near by, shrugging off her cloak and laying it in her lap. She noticed Freya eating; she would be sick if she tried to eat now. Instead, she picked up the whetstone from her pack, and sharpened at dagger that somehow appeared in her hand.
(OOC: Prolly Dan's in the lead, since he has the map. But Ronin is prolly second. *shrug* o.o )

Dan stopped, turned, and began to dig for something to eat from his backpack. "Nothing too exciting over here. I was kind of curious about you guys, though." After pulling a ration from his pack and opening it, he started to give into his hunger and eat. Once he had finished about half of it, he took a small break from the food. "Who wants to help me set up the tent?" he asked, then began to take care of the other half of his ration.

Freya didn't eat much of what she had in her hands, but the little that she had sufficed for the evening. She carefully noted the surroundings of the area where they had stopped while she waited for the others to finish, taking into account that Talla didn't eat at all. She chose not to answer Ronin's question (quite obviously OOC: Or maybe I have no clue what the hell was going on...), and spoke only once and for the last time for the night in response to Dan:
"Pff. There's no need. The sky will do just fine for a roof. Goodnight." The last part was added after a bit of silence on her part. She pushed some of her bags aside and laid (grammar?) herself onto the soft ground. She closed her eyes, feigning sleep.

Talla looked over at Ronin after he asked the question. She then listened to the other two responses from the group, now sharpening what looked to be another dagger absent-mindedly. After a few minutes she inspected her work, picking a blade of grass and gently touching the tip of it with the dagger. It cut the piece in half cleanly.
She grabbed her items and found another tree nearby.
"It-" Talla coughed, resurrecting her voice. "It's a nice night. The moon will feel nice.."
Her head pounded at the sound of her own voice, which came out barely more then a whisper. She laid down under the tree, her cloak over her legs, and stared through the leaves above her. Slowly she fell in a deep meditation, and finally asleep.

Dan was a little shaken that no one wanted any sort of shelter. However, he decided not to pester anyone over the matter. He finished up the other half of his ration, and put the tent away. Hope it doesn't rain, he thought to himself. "Yeah, it is a nice night." He said, trying to get into the conversation. "Hope it stays that way," he added, with a hint of cynicism. He walked around a bit more, close to the camp-site, to make himself tired before finally getting to sleep.

*after listening to what everyone had to say about what they do for a living (ooc: and by everyone i mean Dan) Ronnin decides to chip in alittle* yeah thats very intresting everybody uhh me too. and your right.. uh.. dan was it? its is a very nice night, a bit to cold for my liking though

The night is cool with crickets and a few other wildlife sounds, the sky clear with stars lighting up the midnight sky.
ooc:assuming ronin went to bed, any problems talk to me and we'll skip back
The next day bright and sunny, alittle warm out but nothing to insane, the grass slightly damp from the cool night air from before, the birds are chirping happily as all of our party wakes.

Freya slept very little throughout the night, waking up periodically. It had been so long since she last stepped out of her town and travelled about. Plus, she had never been on such a big mission in her entire life. Part of her wanted to get the journey over with, but she also wanted to make sure she did everything right. She sat up and briefly examined the rest of the group, only to conclude that they were all still sleeping. She searched through her bags for a couple of minutes to make sure everything was ready to go when everyone was ready to leave. Until the next person woke up, she surveyed her surroundings a bit more and muttered something about a night watch to herself while she did.

Talla was the second to awake. She laid there for a few long minutes, staring up into the tree. She slept deeply, but it felt as if she hadn't slept at all. She sat straight up quickly, a faraway look in her eyes. Around her eyes were red, she rubbed at them, only worsening it. Running her hand through her unruly hair, she watched Freya from the corner of her eye, noticing the others were sleeping still. A grin twitched at the side of her mouth; she liked having the company of the others, though they seemed quite different, but friendly enough.
Talla wrapped her cloak around her, and got her things together. She stretched and sighed, then leaned against the tree,waiting for what was going to happen next.

Ronin wakes up staring at the sky and leans his head forward slightly, but continues to lay down, and looks to see where the others were and what they were doing. He noticed that he is the third to awake, then lays his head back down and looks at the sky a bit longer. Waiting for Dan to awake.
ooc:i think i was talking to dan but he never posted anything back lol oh well. =P
