(OOC: No, Dan never said anything... ^_^)
Dan finally awoke about a half hour after Ronin (provided no one intervened. If so, it would play out the same, pretty much.) He tried to ignore the fact that he was still a bit sleepy, but since he slept in so much, he felt okay for the most part. Dan got his things ready to go, then got his bearings to find which direction to go.
"You guys could have woke me up sooner if you really wanted," he said to the group. "I tend to sleep in sometimes." Then, after a second-check of his belongings, he asked, "Everyone ready to go?

"Yes, I'm ready," Freya answered. "There is no rush to continue; it is still early for the morning. We may go when everyone feels ready to." She winced at her own words, hoping nobody would try to take her words to heart and stay in this place longer than they had to. "However," she added, "we should try to make good use of the daylight." She picked up her bags and slung them over her shoulder, patiently waiting.

Talla sat there quietly, trying to unknot her hair and watched everyone. Talla took her time, stretching and smoothing out her clothes.
"Yeh. I'm ready," she walked out slowly, a few feet from Freya. She rested her pack against her leg, and looked up into the sky. "Hope it'll stay this nice out," she said it mostly to herself, and yawned again, waiting patiently also.

Ronin notices everyone getting ready to go so he stands up and brushes the dirt off of him. then he gets his few things together and joins the rest of the group ready to continue the journey.

The four find themselves slowly entering a forest as there travels continue on the 2nd day of travel, the group notices a man screaming for help in the distant around the middle of the day the scream coming from the west of where they are traveling only a few yards away at most, as the group notices they see a bear attempting to climb up a tree and a man up in the tree throwing stones and sticks at the bear trying to get it away as he screams for help.

Talla liked forests. She liked the shade and the covering. Surprised and awakened by the screaming, she turns to where the sound comes from, and her eyes widen. In a swift movement she holds a dagger in her left hand. Its long and the tip curves very slightly. She takes a step towards where the bear & man are, her eyes a washed out blue and alert. She looked at everyone, her face calm.
she whispers just loud enough for them to hear: "well..how're we going to go about this?.."

"heh well honestly i would walk the other way i mean its not our problem right.." looks at everyone "but if you all are up for a challenge i dont mind showing off a bit though id rather not" shrugs and waits for a response

The thought startled Talla. She relaxed more though, and shrugged.
"Heartless, but logical." Talla said softly, and closed her eyes, waiting for the others responses.

"We don't have time!" Freya shouted suddenly. She hesitated for a moment, and continued. "Our mission is far too important." She started walking towards the company's original destination, all the while thinking about how it wasn't the mission she was worried about...

"I cannot ignore the plea of another adventurer," Dan said, reaching for his sword. "Who knows, maybe by helping him, we'll earn his trust and he'll help us. I'm sure we could use some more strength in our little party." Ignoring Freya, Dan drew his sword and began marching over to the bear.

Ronin watches as Dan marches toward the bear and chuckles. "you dont honestly think you can take a bear down by yourself do you? plus do you really think he has anything to offer to us?" Ronin sighs then grabs his daggers and quickly follows Dan

"AUGH!!" Freya screamed as she pulled out her shortsword(?). "Let's make this quick!" She runs after the guys, leaving poor Talla behind.

Talla blinks and follows behind, clutching her weapon tighter.
"It shouldn't take long, it's a bear.." Talla told Freya, running along side her, trying to form some type of comfort.

"Don't worry, friend!" Dan yelled to the guy in the tree. "We have come to your aid!" With that, he charged at the bear, sword ready to be swung.

She finally caught up. Talla took a deep breath and moved around to the side of the bear, watching Dan as she did. She stood, crouched down low, a few feet away with her axe out. Talla slowly moved in, waiting for the bears reaction to Dan. She watched for the others out of the corner of her eye.
