well I hope it would... that'd be one out of control CDR.
as for myself... i definatly think some songs that are soft... almost ambiant would make suitable travel songs.
as for specifics....well... " lost painting" Castlevannia SoN, would make a good theme for the inside of a castle. "Those chosen by the planet" FF7 always a favorite....
... to be quite honest i'd need to see the list of songs to compose an adaquite list.
...but those are just off the top of my head.

Okay, I'll try to get you a complete list, but it's going to be HUGE. Like I said, anything from Final Fantasies VII, VIII, IX, and Tactics. Plus, I dug up stuff from Morrowind and Oblivion. Of course, I still have all the game music I had before (DDS, Nocturne, Baten Kaitos, etc...) And let's not forget that I can find most anything you guys think of outside of these bounds. Let's not forget the new stuff I found that I wanted to work in.
Mostly I guess the theme we're sort of going for has classical instruments, but should have percussion in it. We'll need stuff for conveying a large range of moods, but the instrumentation shouldn't vary too much. (something about following up DDS's "Prelude to Battle" with something from Morrowind just doesn't seem quite right.)
I think a list of individual songs I have would be absolutely ka-razy and non-helpful, but I'll do it if that's what you really, really want.

i know this is hardcore out there! so keep an open mind and you have to hear before you bitch slap it (failed at trying to send it to Lurid the other day) but...a few songs from tomahawk's album anonymous, alot of it is vocalless (or damn near close) some is tribal, some alittle hard, but alot of it i think would be pretty good for some rare moments

i was going through some old cds and found one that has no lyrics and covers a wide rage of emotions.....
...and i know your not going to like it right off the bat....
... so cutting out all the stalling it "Yanni"....
... has no lyrics.... and is very emotional.... its worth a shot at least.

I'm sure you've seen him on PBS or something. His stuff is pretty good, but I don't have any of it and I have so much stuff already. I'll look into his stuff, though. CoF sent me a link to something of his on YouTube, but it had some funky techno drums that I didn't like too much, but everything else was good.

I already have a bunch of OC Remix stuff, but nothing I felt I could use for Revorlet stuff yet. ormgas.rainwave.ccIs a site that plays songs from OC Remix at random. Well, actually it picks 3 random songs (or requests) and lets the current visitors vote on what should play next. There's also the original rainwave site: rainwave.ccIt's pretty much the same thing, but with original music, not remixes. *starts snaggin' away* Oh, and feel free to suggest any songs from OC Remix. There's a whole bunch I already have...I'll make myself a list and post it here or something. |
